Dance StudioFrom fashionable dance to ballroom to classical Indian bharatanatyam, the Crescent Underground Dance and Aerobics Studio was designed with all types of dance in mind. This lovely house has been fondly dubbed the fish bowl” because of the wall of windows permitting passersby to glimpse in. Sky lights allow pure gentle to stream into the studio, which, when paired with the 15-foot tall mirrors and windows, makes for a lightweight and open area. And it wouldn’t be in Morse or Stiles if it did not have just a few weird angles, including sloped walls and triangular home windows!

Taking its cue from the flowery dance numbers in Bollywood films, this high-power class mixes conventional Indian folk dance with contemporary movements from Bhangra, hip-hop, jazz and belly dancing Every class ends with the most effective yoga postures for a soothing cooldown. We provide lessons for adults in Jazz and tap. These lessons cater to newcomers and skilled dancers and our lecturers work laborious to challenge all contributors. These courses are an effective way to make new associates and to enhance health and coordination.

Our dance college presents a very proficient, thrilling and energetic crew of academics who have skilled professionally as dancers and as lecturers. All of our teachers share a love of dance and educating and attempt to provide high quality lessons in a enjoyable and pleasant surroundings. In 2016 our lecturers are; Jess Cogley, Nicole Kelly, Emma Green,Frances Galea, Sophie Sheppard, Simone Woolley and Vanessa Northcott.

All students are required to put on right and full studio uniform to each class. This consists of correct footwear. Effectively fitted and supportive dance shoes are extraordinarily important for all dancers and must be bought from a good dance put on store. We also have an enthusiastic crew of assistant academics serving to in our beginner classes. These assistants are students of ours who are actually able to study the talents of instructing dance from their senior trainer. Our assistant academics this year are; Sophie Sheppard, Danielle Martin, Indi Reith, Hannah Harvison, Liza Rizkallah, Emma Bryant, Eliza Anderson, Olivia Burn, Gemma Russo, Orla Millerd and Tamika Sheehan.
