Modern DanceAs Summer time ends and students head back to highschool, MDT is getting ready for lessons to begin on September 12,2016.

In the early 1900s a few dancers in Europe began to rebel towards the inflexible constraints of Classical Ballet Shedding classical ballet approach, costume, and footwear these early modern dance pioneers practiced free dance. Merce Cunningham—a former ballet pupil and performer with Martha Graham, he presented his first New York solo concert with John Cage in 1944.
